NEW YORK — Sara Cristina announces the arrival of Echoes of Light, the brand’s Resort 2026 collection. Rooted in the landscape and light of Choroní, Venezuela — a village suspended between rainforest and Caribbean sea — the collection is shaped by memory, craft, and a deeply personal connection to place.

A Sense of Place

Each season, Sara Cristina returns to the coast — not only for silhouettes that speak of ease and clarity, but for a deeper connection to place. For Resort 2026, Choroní became the point of departure: a village where time moves slowly, palm trees lean gently over sand, and the air is almost tangible with heat and salt. From this atmosphere, the collection took form.

The Fabric of the Season

At the heart of the collection is a signature textile — a reinterpretation of the palm trees of Choroní conceived in dialogue with the work of Venezuelan painter Armando Reverón. Reverón, who lived on the Caribbean coast, sought to capture the intensity of light through raw surfaces and muted palettes. His search for luminosity became a guiding force, joining with the memory of palm and shadow to produce a fabric that is dark, earthy, and intricate: layered with detail, dense with rhythm, alive with repetition.

Landscape into Cloth

The images that accompany the collection trace the journey from place to process: palm trees from Choroní standing beside studies of pigment and texture, translating landscape into cloth. Photography is by Conrado Véliz. Studio process was captured by Pedro Santos. Realization by Ariana Díaz and editorial direction by David De Lima.
