Valentino Beauty Revives Studio 54

The occasion: the launch of the Born in Roma 2025 Rendez-Vous Ivory Collection, housed in ivory and gold bottles. Born in Roma Donna blends orange blossom and vanilla with a marshmallow twist, while Born in Roma Uomo contrasts bergamot and lavandin with a smoky fireplace accord. Joining them is the Spike Valentino Ivory Lipstick, a radiant matte formula available in four shades — from neutral nude to terrazzo red.

But the night was more than product drops. It was pure spectacle: Violet Chachki soaring through the air, roller skaters in sequins gliding past, cigarette girls weaving through the crowd, and a soundtrack by Nicky Siano, Honey Dijon, and The Dare worthy of fashion’s wildest muse — Studio 54.

At the heart of it all, one name sealed the full-circle moment: Cher. A legend of the club’s original nights, she returned as the evening’s most luminous guest. Alongside her, Maripol, Pat Cleveland, FKA Twigs, Tessa Thompson, Lenny Kravitz, Lourdes Leon, Adut Akech, Nana, and newly appointed Valentino Beauty Brand Ambassador Colman Domingo embodied a guest list that was as iconic as the setting.
