Milano from the Heights: Classic Meets Contemporary at Ceresio 7
In a city like New York, where rooftop bars flourish frenetically, and experiences are designed to be Instagrammable, it's normal to see locations that combine high-energy bars with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Places where music beats hard, fashion is shown, and the night is a spectacle.
We crossed the Atlantic and landed in Milan, discovering a concept that blends sophistication, modern design, and beats to their own rhythm. Ceresio 7, a bar that started as a trendy spot, is now an established name with seven years under its belt.
From Gym to Skyline: Body, Mind, Soul, and Senses at Ceresio 7
Ceresio 7 is divided into two spaces, a number that makes a lot of sense now that we are writing this article; the entire complex is located in the historic ENEL palazzo, which has been remodeled and converted into the Dsquared2 building and headquarters.
On the lower levels, the Gym and Spa occupy a space with an interior design that strikes a balance between relaxation and endurance. A completely private, by-design club maintains limited access to preserve exclusivity, comfort, and quality. It offers personalized training classes, such as HIIT, functional training, cardio, and yoga, among others, along with equipment from Technogym, accompanied by a special app to track progress. The spa offers treatments, cryotherapy, and a sauna in a quiet, luxurious style.
On the other end of the building, right on the fourth floor, the rooftop offers a Restaurant and Bar that combines the use of brass, marble, and wood to create a successful blend of attractive colors and vintage decor.
The view of Milan makes the perfect setting for enjoying a fabulous dinner by chef Elio Sironi, reworking classics of Italian cuisine with modern techniques in a style that blends simplicity, authenticity, and respect for the guests.
At both ends, two different pools extend to the sky, complementing the building's sober lines and a cocktail menu that blends tradition and innovation, led by Bar Manager Abi El Attaoui. "For us, elegance doesn't have to be inaccessible. Each cocktail we serve must have a purpose and must be clear and harmonic. We don't want our guests to decipher what they're drinking; we want them to enjoy from the Aperitivo to a perfect cocktail after dinner," he explains.
In a world obsessed with spectacle, Ceresio 7 offers something more profound: a curated experience where every element, from a clarified Negroni to a stretch of skyline, feels intentional. It's a place where time slows down, Milan reveals its most elegant self, and the art of hospitality is alive and well.
