Maccapani presents “MACCAFINDS: AIRBRUSHED”
Founded by Margherita Maccapani Missoni, Maccapani is a new forward-looking take on "Made in Italy" that goes beyond the contemporary wardrobe, combining cutting-edge Italian jersey fabrications with Margherita’s post-streetwear, feminocentric philosophy with function at its core.
For the first time, Maccapani ventures into the world of furniture with a project presented on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025. “MaccaFinds: Airbrushed” merges past and present by renewing vintage pieces with a contemporary graphic intervention, executed by a local artist from Varese and long-time collaborator of Margherita Maccapani Missoni specialized in customizing motorbikes and helmets.
The collection features 12 unique pieces sourced from antique markets and personal spaces belonging to Margherita Maccapani Missoni. Among them are a dresser, a glass cabinet, three coffee tables, three stools, and two metal lamps — each one transformed into a one-of-a-kind creation.
Therefore, the connection between Maccapani’s fashion line and the curatorial vision of Margherita Maccapani Missoni reaches its fullest expression, giving rise to a new language that intertwines fashion, design, and curation. The exploration of vintage —already part of the brand’s DNA through MaccaFinds— now extends to furniture, continuing the same passion for discovery, recovery, and transformation.
Maccapani’s original collection of vintage furniture reimagined through the art of airbrushing, titled “MaccaFinds: Airbrushed” is now available for purchase at www.maccapani.store.
