Paris Fashion Week: Saint Laurent women:

By Titina Penzini (IG @titinapenzini)

For Summer 2026, Anthony Vaccarello showed that aesthetics is a language. “They reach beyond the surface to express a way of seeing the world crossing boundaries of art, society, and politics”.

Style becomes a form of discourse, not to impress but to connect and add a nuance. The Saint Laurent aesthetic creates space to breathe and explore new analogies. Anthony Vaccarello’s summer collection embodies this vision in a cinematic atmosphere where the Saint Laurent woman is both heroine and classic, singular and multifaceted. She moves through contrasting worlds: black leather-clad princesses, Mapelthorpe style, adorned with crown jewels; enigmatic women asserting their power in Rive Gauche silhouettes with liquid fabrics and bold colors, while descendants of the Duchess of Guermantes or John Singer Sargent’s “Madame X” trade their silks for technical textiles.

Beauty is plural.

Aesthetics becomes a language of resistance, respect, and inclusion. Always one of my favorite collections.
