Garrido Gallery hits Design Miami 2025:

For the first time, Garrido Gallery will present a major exhibition of master silversmithing at Design Miami 2025, bringing together the savoir-faire of their workshop with the creative vision of five outstanding contemporary artists: Ghada Amer, Nacho Carbonell, Ross Lovegrove, Estúdio Campana, and Peter Marino.

This new body of work forms part of ARGENTUM, our long-term initiative dedicated to reviving and preserving the endangered craft of silversmithing. Many of the traditional techniques they use — forging, raising, chiseling, planishing — are today practiced by only a handful of artisans worldwide.

Through Argentum, Garrido Gallery invites leading artists to create new works using these techniques, reaffirming silversmithing as a vibrant contemporary language and not a fading historical craft.

The exhibition will also include historical pieces created by the founder, Damián Garrido, alongside key works by Juan and Paloma Garrido, representing 70 years of continuous creation. This anniversary makes our debut at Design Miami particularly meaningful.
